Unable to Activate CHH Compact in Kontakt 5 on OSX

I'm (desperately) trying to activate my newly purchased copy of CHH Compact for use in Logic Pro X.

I have Kontakt Player installed, have successfully added and activated the NI Sample library, so I am confident that part of things works fine. I have the Service Center app installed, and an account. I can see the purchase on BestService.de site. I have the email with serial number.

I can add the CHH Compact Library, though I do get an error message following the library add:

"Error while writing files to disk. Adding the library has failed."

Despite this, I can use the entire thing in DEMO mode.

When I attempt to activate it, I get 2 error messages:

"Error while writing files to disk. Adding the library has failed."

followed by:

"CHH Compact can not be activated. Please run the original installer of the library."

Given that there IS no original installer, this error makes no sense to me.

I have tried different folder locations for CHH Compact - no change.
I have looked at permissions and matched those (owner and perms) to the Contact 5 sample library in the same location.

I'm concerned this can't be resolved. It's vexing to have to wander through 3 totally different companies and products, and get nowhere at all!

Anyone have any ideas?

did you have already contacted the Support via Support [at] bestservice.de? Normally this is no big issue which can be solved easily.
