Hi Calle

When I save an instance of Tx16wx v3.2.1 (v3.2 seems to do it also, but I haven´t tested other previous builds) with a couple of drum samples loaded, close the Reaper project and then load it again, I get an error message that says :

idx://#18446744073709551615

Error:invalid vector <T> subscript

This happens on Windows 7 Ultimate x64 - yes, I know that you´ll tell me I have to upgrade the OS, but that´s something very difficult right now -.

Post

That error means that you somehow managed to save a program/perf that references a wave that TX does not consider loaded. That should not be possible. I will need exact steps you took to generate the error, and possibly the material you imported.

Never mind, I managed to repro the issue.

Hi and congratulations on the new update.

I have a question, it says on the website "Loads Typhoon compressed AIFC files
Original Yamaha OS Wave files"

So I went https://soniccharge.com/forum/topic/594 ... 6w-library to the only collection of such files that I could find. Tried to load them up and get this error: "Unhandled file type"

The original Yamaha files are there, but with the extension ".img" so I even tried renaming them to ".aifc" and I get a longer message "Could not load file... Could not parse source"

Edit: intuition tells me that .aifc and yamaha WAV files are just single sounds and I was hoping to import the Typhoon version of an .SFZ

Post

"img" files are probably disk image files. typhoon compressed means the aifc compression used by typhoon os.

At least on a Mac, you can double-click the .img files to open them and show the individual files.

However, on that Sonic Charge site, scroll down the page to the "Aeolian Cyclone Collection" zip in Tim Ryan's (kvr user Melkor) 2017 post. That zip includes 1000 of those .img files, cleaned up and compiled (when possible) into 245 .fxp files that each contain 1 to 30 performances.

Melkor released an updated version here:

Hope this helps. I have not tried it in TX16Wx yet, only in Cyclone.

Thanks so much for the supersonic fix, Calle! I'll get back to work tomorrow and will report if I see any other strange thing.

I get pops and clicks at the end of earch played note on version 3.2.1.
Previous version worked fine without pops and clicks.

@chrisdee: Hm? I don't have any pops nor clicks when playing. Can you send an example file that misbehaves?

You need to save it as a TX program, and also include samples.

@chrisdee: Again, I need the samples to be able to tell anything. And if possible, the bank etc saved in plain TX format (I can extract it from the pro tools data, but it is cumbersome).
