Hey...

everytime i try to start tx16wx, i get a message: Warning could not generate Fingerprint.
And the programm is not starting.

I could not find a solution on the homepage, in manual or here. So maybee someone here knows more.

Is my Computer the problem? I have Windows 7 SP1 or higher. So what could it be?

Thanks for your time.

It means the copy protector could not determine a hardware fingerprint for your machine. Basically that it could not find three or more identifiable hardware items (cpu, bios, disk, network card) to get a unique machine from. Which is very strange.
Can you please provide details on exactly which TX version you are running, as well as OS and hardware on your machine?

i tryed 3.0.10 x64 and 3.4.0I x64 doesn´t work. Right now i tryed legacy 2.4.2h and it works jaaa! (savi host)

OS: Windows 7 SP1, i5 3450, 64Bit, bios: american megatrends F7, 2xsata HDD, atheros ethernet controller,
machine is offline and win not activated. I dont know which details you need to know.

Still hoping to be able to use the actual version soon.

thx

2.4 does not have any fingerprinting. What does "offline and win not activated" mean? It the network card not connected? (Should not matter, but...)

ok, so i will check version 2.4 first. It´s just a bit confusing because manual is for version 3.4

I mean that this computer is not connected to internet, and because of that i didn´t active my windows with a code on microsoft.
So i get a warning when i turn on the computer, that my windows maybee ist not original version. And i think some things do not work 100% correct because of that.

I actvated windows now and it still does not work...

Any suggestions why this fingerprint problem is there?

Post

arrrrgh computers...

When I open the tx with admin rights it works fine... ...so it just couldn´t write the fingerprint.

Im sorry i didn´t try this before... thank you for helping!

That means it could not _read_ the hardware, which in turn means you have some weird permission settings for your normal user/hardware.
I would suggest you try to make sure your Windows is fully updated. Since it is offline, it sounds like it is missing a few vital system updates.

Yes I will do that.

It works fine now. Thank you!
