Hi,

when I for example normalize a mp3-song, i get a new file with very strange outfit of the mp3-tag as you can see in the attached pictures. One is the original file ans the other the new file generated by Acoustica 7.0.29.

Best regards
Peter

Thanks for the report. There seems to be an issue in the ID3 tag parsing or export in Acoustica. Would it be possible to send the source file to our support for testing?

Stian

Hi Stian.

thank you for your quick answer.
Attached please find the source file with the endin mp3A, because mp3 is not allowed

Hi Stian.
today I checked again the mp3-tag after processing a lot of amazons downloads with the same result: strange letters before "title", "artist" and "album" and all track-numbers are lost.
It it definitley an error in Acoustica !

Peter

Hi Peter,

Thanks, I have received your files and managed to track down the issue. The characters you are seeing are the "Byte Order Mark" (BOM) used in UTF16 to indicate litte or big endian encoding. We'll make sure that Acoustica strips the BOM in the next update.

Best,
Stian
