I've noticed this the most with Klanghelm DC8C3, but I've also experienced it with other Klanghelm plugins, D16 plugins, Tokyo Dawn plugins, etc. Most of these plugins pass Pluginval. I'm runningWindows 10 and current Waveform beta 10.1.2 (but I've noticed it on previous releases).

Plugins with the option to render at a higher quality/oversampling tend to cause crashes when rendering. This includes rendering clips, rendering tracks, and exporting. The consistency of the crashes varies by plugin and setting, but I think the root cause is "render at higher quality" or "offline higher quality" settings. When I turn off these settings I'm often unable to replicate crashes I could replicate by simply rendering a plugin a few times.

Is it possible that Tracktion has an issue with reporting or interpreting whatever message plugins use to determine something is offline? This is a very common setting and it'd be great to be able to render without fear, instead of recording everything.
