What is Strontium-90?

Strontium-90 is a rack extension for Propellerhead Reason which I have been working on tirelessly for the past few weeks, among other things. It is nearing completion, and should be available at some point within the next several month(s).

It contains an RF modulator with FM/PM/AM/AM-SSB/AM-DSB/AM-2-ISB and RING modulation types, a multi-filter with multiple-order LP/HP/BP/PEAK/NOTCH modes, Envelope and a Low Frequency Oscillator for controlling modulation.

Both the RF modulator, Filters and LFO can be modulated by a multi-mode envelope, which can be aligned to either # bars or time. Likewise, the LFO can be used to control the RF modulator and Filters. In addition to the Envelope and LFO, the RF modulator and Filters can be be controlled with variably sensitive CV inputs. Similarly, the Envelope can be reset via a thresholded CV gate.

Is There A Release Date?

Expect Strontium-90 some time this Spring, if all goes to plan, hopefully by mid-April!

How is it doing? Can we still expect it by the end of the month? ;)

I'm pretty enthousiastic about this one: I was wishing for a Rack Extension like this one since the beginning of the format, and can't wait to try it! ;)

It will be available really soon!

You should keep up with if you would like more information as well as ETA as it becomes available.

In the mean time, here are some more screenshots of the graphical UI artwork:
