How do I change the MIDI channel that pattern change control listens to?

Hi,

Really enjoying Cream. I'm having problems with Cream intercepting low MIDI notes that I want to go to my VSTi. Can I set the MIDI channel for pattern change control to a different one than the track? Or, can I disable pattern change by MIDI? (this wouldn't be as good but it would work).
