First note nerves

I am a newbie.
I have noticed that if I play a note to start the arpeggiator then the first note seems to have no release phase on the synth. The other notes in the pattern seem to trigger the releases on the synth but the first note seems not to.

i've got argeggio on note count=1
play order=as played

I had the rate at 1/4 - can't tell if it happens at anything faster.
