It seems, Plateau and Chronoblob2 are currently not v2 ready. I hope they get an update soon.... :(

Chronoblob There’s a v2 beta of that available which seems to work perfectly so soon...

Lots of the good stuff is MIA- no Instruo Modules for example....no guarantee anything will be ported over to V2 I guess, especially the free stuff.

X32 Desk, i9 PC, S49MK2, Studio One, BWS, Live 12. PUSH 3 SA, Osmose, Summit, Pro 3, Prophet8, Syntakt, Digitone, Drumlogue, OP1-F, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Nord Drum3P, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!

Fair few modules that are waiting to be ported to the library, but have working versions you can build if you want to use them desperately.
Not that much I use regularly that I'm missing in the library right now other than Entrian sequencers (less of an issue if I run it in a DAW), Plateau and Chronblob 2 (loads of DAW reverbs that are as good if not better, but the CV modulation capabilities of those are fun) .
Things I am really missing - the Stoermelder stuff, which is on its way apparently, and I really really miss the Little Utils' Teleport In and Out modules which stopped the screen becoming a mass of cables.

Has to be said though that the main reasons I was using Voltage Modular more have been addressed - DAW integration works and the UI updates work really well. Ability to move modules by selecting and clicking and the "duplicate connected" options plus more control over the cabling via tension are great. May never need to buy another plug in. Though I will, of course I will, probably later today...

I can highly recommend the soundstage reverb, well worth $30 (I just got it with the drums and V2 update). The drums are also very good, but I just kinda added the reverb as it was on a deal and now I am blown away with it!

I don’t have VCV Rack. A quick search revealed that there is a module that will host VST 2/3 plugins available for $30. The module provides all exposed automation parameters as targets for modulation.

Sheesh. Okay. Maybe it is time to add one more software modular to my hoard.

Yes, it's about CV modulation, but also about downward compatibility with my old patches.

At the moment, I'm still optimistic that (at least) Chronoblob will get an update....

If you whack LFOs on the positions and room dimensions it can get very strange very quickly :)

Valley is in the Rack 2 library now so you can direct everything through Plateau richness

Going to give VCV 2 a go I'm interested

To me though it's going to have to sound better/create more complex sounds that I can with Bazille/Zebra HZ plus Bitwig modulation

I've found it worthwhile despite having a bunch of hardware modular plus Bitwig Grid. Hardware modular is more fun, but VCV gives me access to a bunch more modules I don't have (including several I used to but sold to make room for other things), plus multiple instances. And I find it nice being able to directly apply Eurorack experience to patching it, but also have it integrated with Bitwig modulators etc.

I'm still battling hard against VeeSeeVST... but I can see a future with V2 if automation works the same way.
Checking soon.
If automation works by submenu assigns maybe Voltage Modular by cherry would do an easier job...

There’s also an open source project named Cardinal that wraps the VCV Rack into a plugin.
Not tried it myself as I just bought the VCV Pro, but others may want to check it out.
