I will use night and day, never sleep, never work, and make it big before my electricity is turned off. Woot. Was there a date given for the release?

Speaking of the GUI, I wonder what "dark room mode" is going to be like. How is it any different than just dimming down your screen? :hihi:
Very different (as Vurt explained) :harp:

It has actually been available for quite some time through a special (free) VCV module, for anyone interested.

I don't know if the implementation in VCV v2 will be different, or add some options, though.

Softube should think about upgraiding their Modular usability. Because not having VST is what held be back from VCV. And i think with VCV2, Softube will loose a good portion of users.
Why? Just because VCV looks analog doesn't mean shit. Softube actually uses analog emulation.

Thanks. :)

Seems to be a fair price for what it offers.
Cheap, really.

There’s nothing about VCV that precludes anyone from using any kind of code they want including creating component level analog emulations (as much as that even exists beyond just being buzz words). If Softube felt like it, they could port their code to VCV, and U-he or Cytomic for example could do the same.

so many of the most popular eurorack modules are digital anyways.

I dunno, the new look is only slightly more appealing to me than before and that's still not a lot. *out of all of them, I like the look of Reaktor blocks the best I suppose.

I use both, I don't see a big difference between Reaktor Blocks and VCV Rack. In VCV Rack, 'Cable opacity' is set to 0% on my system.

In Reaktor Blocks I love the possibility of 'Modulation Buses', it keeps everything look clear and simple. But only two of them, are a little less. :?

VCV has 1000's of modules that use analogue emulation, a lot of them free and of a very high quality. Not that it matters, 'analogue emulation' is still 100% digital.

My Hydrasynth is 100% digital and my Summit uses digital (Oxford) oscillators, they and sounds far better to me than a lot of my analogue synths.
PC + S49 MK2, Studio One, BWS, Live (+PUSH2), FL Studio, Renoise, Reason, X32 Desk, Hardware Synths (Summit, Hydrasynth, Pro 3, P8), A4 + RYTM, MPC Live, Poly Tracker, Eurorack, TD27 V Drums, Guitars, Basses, Amps and Pedals
