Plug-in window on top

The plug-in window is always on top of my DAW. Is there a way to change this so that I can bring the DAW on top when I want?

Setting -- Display -- Dialog Window Always on Top

OK. The Dialog Window Always on Top was checked. I unchecked it but the dialog window is still remains on top. Also, I cannot get back to Settings once I unchecked the box. I deleted the instrument and started over again but the dialog window is still on top. Any other suggestions?
