Tested on:
Reaper v4.78 and v5.17
Windows 7 64bit
AGM v2.3.0
AGT v2.3.0

Add Ample guitar VST to track. Add MIDI item. Draw some notes in the MIDI item. In the VST, turn the "Double Toggle Switch" ON. Play track. Works fine.
Now add an envelope lane for the Ample guitar track and choose the double toggle switch parameter (M-Doubling Tog). Make sure "Visible" is also checked (it is checked automatically when creating the envelope lane). Play. Crashes Reaper every time.

Hi, can you update to 2.3.1 and try again?

Post

Updated to 2.3.1... same thing, crash.

If you keep the double toggle OFF and show the envelope, it does not crash, but it plays the notes extremely muted and truncated!

Post

It is best that you toggle Double on and off when no notes are being played, and you only need to toggle it with one point. An envelope is not necessary.

Is there a keyswitch for the double toggle? If there is, I can't find it. Otherwise, an envelope is needed... and yes, one point either on or off: if it's all the way off = muted notes, if it's all the way on = crash.

Post

Can you try to assign a MIDI CC to double toggle and use MIDI CC to control it? Or you can try another daw. We confirm double toggle automation works fine in Cubase. We will try to fix it and release it in the next update

Post

This has been fixed in version 2.4.1
Thanks!
