good update now the treshhold value in AME work ok in general and its possible now that AME play sustain notes that have 2 layer diffrent depend on red slider.

Small problem, i see that you add new default file with the blue velocity slider is set to 40. this sound very bad on existing pattern and your patterns. set this value to at least 50 sound ok. or does the full download contain new patterns, so only old need change ?

Thanks for your suggestion, the Riff is made according to the default parameters, i.e., the threshold value of velocity: 64-43-22), different velocity values are related to different timbre:

Velocity 127 -----------------------------AH;
Velocity 126-96--------------Hard Sustain;
Velocity 95-64--------------Soft Sustain;
Velocity 63-43---------------half-mute;
Velocity 42-22---------------1/4 mute;
Velocity 21-1----------------dead note;

So when you change the threshold value, the timbre will be very different.

Please adjust your riffer file referring to the above information, and also you can save the customized threshold value into a default file, hope this can help you, thanks for your support.

The half mute samples are new in AME, now i understand wy i need change the blue slider from 43 to at least 46 (i verify exact). seem the patterns output a velocity upto 45 and with your default setting this play now half mutes. the patterns are designed to play mute and so sound better. so better is set the default in blue slider to 46. if you wish i can do a video from 2.5 and 2.5.1. here can hear that it sound diffrent with builtin patterns too

Edit: in the strum pattern seq in mute bass notes are in your pattern set as vel 90. to get it correct with mute working need change notes to 84 when blue slider is set to 43

I think the half mutes are too long. maybe there can add in preferences a release slider, so can shorten the release time for half mutes. same way as it is possible with drum plugins or software synthesizer to change length of cymbals or other instruments

Thank you very much

Please try C:\program files\ample sound\host.exe
There is any error report?

The plugins are in 2 locations
C:\program files\ample sound
C:\program files\steinberg\vst plugins\

Please add above folders in the Reaper.

Host.exe works (great ! :) ;
I installed ample sound library on an external hard disk, I did not remember having moved dll's but of course I must have done that at some point. So, I will have to search a bit where they went (I use other paths than yours, not steinberg and stuff.)
Just one question : is the name of AGLII dll mentions 2.51? Thank you.

I figured out that the new half mute for AME actually starts at 31. So the ranges are:

Velocity 63-31 ---------------half-mute;
Velocity 30-22 ---------------1/4 mute;
