struggling to load gp files into AGT

It's v hit and miss whether a guitar pro tab file loads into AGT.

I often get a "please convert to another format and try again"

I've tried loading gp tabs into guitar pro 7 first, to check they play okay, which they do.

Then I export as gp5 files (not gp7).

But they still won't load into AGT.

Can you give me any clues to what I'm doing wrong please

I don't try to load gp7 files, only gp5 or below.

Hey Kev,
I've had some success exporting to GPX from Guitar Pro 7 (File/Export/GPX). For example if you export the Guitar Pro 7 Hard Rock example to GPX format, it will play in the tab viewer in Ample. I tried it in AGT, AGTC, and AGP.
