What do you think are useful additions to the analyzer?
One thing I have been sorely missing is a note value view of the corresponding frequency, and the ability to drop markers that show this info on the analyzer. This would make tuning the sidebands of crossmod, FM, etc much easier.

- Vertical range setting and / or vertical and horizontal zoom!
- Adjustable block size to make the low frequencies more detailed.
- An expanded window like in Ableton
- Adjustable slope
- Maybe smoothing

+1 for increased resolution for tuning lower frequencies! I'm now using mostly Voxengo Span, it has everything else besides the ability to drop markers. I have to use it ALL the time because I use my modular +other analog gear a lot, and I like unstable sounds and weird modulations

agree with all of them, also L+R mode.anoise wrote:- Vertical range setting and / or vertical and horizontal zoom!

Gionio(true?) Meter will be cool aswell,

I highly agree.
Yes, just the common features of hardware analyzers would make it way more useful.
Just one common annoyance is the fact that it shows subsonic low frequencies even though a high pass filter is applied.
The current range settings of it and most other analyzer plugins seem to be optimized for eye candy appeal rather than being a useful tool.
