Bitwig very unresponsive when using Kontakt 5 orchestral setup

is it just me or has anyone else experienced this? when i´m composing with a lot of kontakt instruments bitwig is getting very unresponsive showning like 94% cpu consumptionin osc activity monitor. even selecting tracks or a lot of notes gives me a mouse input delay of A COUPLE OF MINUTES!!!

I've been using Bitwig for a lot of orchestral kontakt stuff on MacOS Sierra, and not having mouse input delay like that, something else might be wrong.. Hard to tell without more info
