Considering going wireless with my Linnstrument - your experience?

Hi All,
I have discussed this idea with Roger and he suggested I ask the forum to see if anyone else has had success in cord cutting their Linnstrument (a 200 in my case).
The way I would approach this is to power the Linnstrument using a USB power battery (like a large capacity 5 volt phone charger to the USB B) and plugging in the midi to BT device to the DIN. The Linnstrument would be set to use the DIN midi. I’ve done this before with regular midi cables and devices.
The point is to play my Linnstrument standing up in a guitar / Chapman stick fashion without trying to navigate cords - which is a challenge for me. Currently I play bass with wireless adapters and the freedom and lack of clumsy feet problems is liberating.
Amazon has at least two candidates for the wireless midi part:
Vangoa BM-A01 Bluetooth Wireless 5-PIN MIDI Adapter
Yamaha Wireless MD-BT01 5-PIN DIN MIDI Adapter
I'm likely to drive either a PC with CME Xkey Wireless MIDI (WIDI Bud Bluetooth) or an iOS device.
The concern with this gear is that while Roger confirmed that the Linnstrument provides 5 volts at pin 2 of the DIN per the midi specs it is low power and hardware powered would not likely be able to handle the midi data stream from the Linnstrument well.
Finally - my question:
Has anyone tried this and failed or has a working wireless rig?
Thanks,
Chris

There have been at least a few threads on this forum in which this has already been discussed. Perhaps there's something in these conversations that you might find helpful?

Cool. Let us know how it works out for you, eh! Wireless MIDI (especially MPE-wise) makes me wary; but then, I'm a gigging musician, so I tend to play-it-safe when it comes to critical connections onstage (grin).
I actually have one of those Yamaha wireless MIDI transmitter/receivers (MD-BT01) in my live rig; but I'm using it with a MIDI footswitch for program changes and other simple commands, so latency is not an issue. Can't say I've ever tried it on the LinnStrument. Hmm...
Cheers!

I did not experience problematic latencies... I think as long as note-ons have a higher priority there should not be a problem even with all ten fingers wiggling and pressing...

To be clear, I certainly haven't noticed any latency myself; but then, I'm not using the BT01 for playing. And my LinnStrument is hardwired into a flightcase with all its peripherals, so going wireless would be pointless for me. But that's good to know, should I ever need to go wireless for whatever reason.
Cheers!
