Thanks! but so far, so good, everything is pretty clear, I think the interface design in general is brilliant so little need for a formal manual. I watched the available videos on YouTube to help me get orientated, which was helpful.

My only complaint: I just want the white behind the faux console to be something like a dark charcoal, that would instantly make it look more modern and sharp. It really stands out right now in Studio One, I'm sure in other hosts it is the exact same, it must be horrid in Reaper :) can you release a mod with that simple change (I'm assuming it is simple.)

otherwise I'm cool with it all :) I was a Catanya user and really disappointed with the lack of vision after a brilliant start, and your plugin really takes that basic convention and refines it into a way to automate a one man band. I am just so pleased, I put my wife to sleep tonight telling her all about it (It's ok, she wants me to lull her to sleep. It works perfectly.)

Anyhow, I'm sure I'll have a bunch of feature requests soon enough ;)

I think you mean the white panel that is at the Nora top. Well, this was another little mistake. The first Nora skin desing was done using real physical elements, found in scrapyards, and taking pictures from them. So, in order to modify them, I should do it in a 2D image editor like GIMP - which is easy but pretty time consuming. Nora Diablo was done in a 3D enviroment, so changing the colours is much faster. If you want I can ease you that original white PNG and you can modify it in GIMP (or another similar program), then replace the original using the built-in image editor and save your Mod.

Thanks for your compliments to my hard work :) I'm always willing to hear new ideas for Nora.

Sure, I would love to edit the file myself, I'll send it back to your when I'm done in case it is useful to you. Please let me know what I need to get started.

Oh, and if you have tips for changing the color in DIablo, I would love to know that as well, a toned down version would be nice, I could play with the colors, and of course if they are useful I'll share them too.

I'll email you the file and the instructions in few minutes.

The modding tools in Nora are still in their early versions - and they will not change too much in future versions, because I think it's more important the functionality for the 99.9% of the users. So, to enable them you must do Options->Enable developer mode. There you will have real time editors to change images, colours, sizes, fonts and cursors. It works in this way: you modify the current loaded mod with them, then you save them. There isn't any warning! and all the changes will be lost if you dont save them.

In this case, if you want to change the white colour of the PNG follow these steps:
1. Edit the PNG colours: notice there are transparent colours! If you change the dimensions you will need to change more things, so avoid it.
2. Open the Image Editor (Options menu) and look for "main_toolbar_back"
3. Click on its mini-snapshot to change the image - and select the new PNG.

In the case you want to modify Nora Diablo colours mod, open the Colour Editor. There is a lot of colours, but the 80% of Nora is written with only a bunch of them. They are inside the Track->Editor, and they are the backgrounds/foregrounds, the Controls colours, and inside the Grid you have the guidelines and the colour of the notes/patterns/clips, named "Event" and "Event outline".

Feel free to experiment with them and remember to save your mod! Since all changes will be in realtime you won't have to trial and error too much.

That's awesome, I've used the editor to modify both the Diablo and the Satyatunes light skins, I think I will forgo the image editor, this gives me just what I need, I can edit it to get what works bet for my eyes now, this is great, much appreciated! If I get something that I think is worth sharing I'll post it here.

Just so you know, modifications to the Satyatunes skin is not allowed per readme in download. Maybe you can check with him for permission to post your version.

Yeah I won't be distributing any changes to that. And after seeing the editor, i think most people would b able to make their own mods to their own tastes. It isn't difficult. It is very easy to replace any images with your own.

It looks very good. At first glance, due to colours and fonts, I thought "the egyptian pyramids mod!" Good work!

Thanks, I see the sort of 'parchment' look now, lol. It is really easy on my eyes, relaxing, and looks really good in my DAW. I think I'm done fiddling with the colors for now, thanks for your help with it, it is a great system to modify, very flexible and straightforward, just like the rest of the plugin. You do great work sir,

squareheads, is it ok to distribute edited Diablo skins? I'll happily post whatever I make if that is the case.

Yes! Modify, distort and share it as much as you want. Diablo skin is 100% mine, and you are free to do with it what you wish.

Cool, well, here is the skin above, maybe a couple little changes, I call it Oasis because you made that Egypt reference ;) Let me know if there is any issue with the link.
