Thanks for the comments. Let's see if I can help you out...
> I'm sorta confused about the filters tho, does the slider control the resonance?
Yes.
> How do you control the frequency?
You don't, is dependent to the ADSR Envelope.
> Will there be a global filter added?
Right now we don't have plans, since you can just plug an external filter as an Insert effect.
The Filter is more a bonus to the synth, actually.

Ahh, good to know. BTW: Wich CPU and Gear you got?
Just a note, the filter is a bit restricted to avoid heavy CPU usage.

Could you explain this about more William? How exactly does the filter react to different env shapes? Maybe its just me, be intuitively I can't quite figure it out.> How do you control the frequency?
You don't, is dependent to the ADSR Envelope.
Also, how about more filter variety and a cutoff slider? BP, BR and HP would sure be nice in EVE. If it takes a bit more cpu, no biggie. EVE is so efficient it would still be faster than most synths I own. At first glance, the filter section and lack of ability to import wavs are the only issues holding EVE back from being a perfect combi-machine.

Thanks for the sugestions, is already on our todo-list for EVE 2.0, but I can't promisse much right now.
About the Filter - ADSR thingy. Ok, here is what happens, when you turn the filter ON, the ADSR affects the filter only, no the amplitude of the audio. That's it.

ahh I did not know that, so you are saying that the ADSR of the actual sample set is what you hear with the filters on and they are not being modulated by the envelopes?

Hummm, now you got me confused. Not sure what you mean.
Anyway, here is how EVE works.
One Envelope only, you can have it modulate AMP -OR- FILTER-CUTT OFF, not both at the same time. This helps keep CPU usage down by 50%.

Ok, I understand now. But what is the baseline cutoff freq that the env modulates?

Do you mean how the envelope acts on the filter? It goes from closed to full-open. Here is the values in HZ if you need: 200hz min, SampleRate/2 max.

however it works: please leave it as it is - Eve
is so light on the cpu and it's so easy to edit the sounds, that's part of what's so special about it
- after all it's not a va or something and that's a good thing

agreed. I am even starting to warm up to the Rhodes sounds in it, maybe my stage 73 isn't worth the hassle anymore...

Ok, I'm confused about two more things:
- pitch env. In the manual it says it has a range of 12 semitones, but in the gui the range goes from -1.00 to +1.00 cents. It sounds like a whole octave range to me - wouldn't it be nice to label it in semitones rather than cents, as in hundredths of a tone? Because its confusing which value I need for a given pitch. Say 5 semitones up, is that +0.50 or +0.41?
Also labelling the ADSR gui in ms and s instead of the corresponding midi values would be great.
- lfo masters. The only use for these I can think of is using midi learn on them so you can assign them to a CC and move all lfos at once. Or am I missing something?
