We are excited to be able to offer some of Alan Entwistle’s very own branded guitars, very few so far are available throughout the world. The guitars featured on this site have until recently only been available in Spain however we are proud to announce their arrival in the UK!

That Entwistle EJT-T/L – Greenburst looks just like my Revelation, except for the pickups. Little as I know of these things, I like the Entwistle pickups in that guitar. She was cheaper though.

I'm a little confused now, I used to think of present day Revelation as Entwistle's brand.

---
My Chapman Guitars ML1 Pro Modern Sun HH strat-style arrived today, she looks gorgeous.
Plays so easy, sounds so good it feels like she plays by herself.

---
Next stop: Les Paul and/or SG, hopefully.
Still thinking Chapman / Revelation / Epiphone.

Chapman's Les Paul is the prettiest I've seen, but she's rather expensive and out of stock, it seems.
A little discount might have me running for a Revelation.
And I've seen some really nice looking Epiphones, dirt cheap - but it seems silly to 'have to' throw the pickups out, and some people complain of bad frets and necks.

let's see if we can trigger some purists...

im thinking about the jammy, a 15 fret digital guitar that has real strings :)
anything higher than15 frets is needless widdle.

If it's digital, then you could just transpose the wankey bits.

yeah it does all that business, different tunings and guitar models and what not.
from what ive seen its midi tracking works great, poly too :)
only 500, which in comparison to other midi guitar options is reasonable.
just need to check if its software dependant (ie do i need to go through the computer) as id like it more for hw synths that vst.

Hmmm. After 3 months of guitar obsession and trying 5 guitars out, I don't think this would be the time to bring this up with my wife.

My Casio DG20 has real strings too. They are now all nylon G strings. So much better than a YRG
The artipbon was designed by a violist and it shows. It tries to be everything all the time physically and fails terribly at all of them.

Honestly, you want to go deep on the otherside... Ztar baby.

Yeah, I thought of you when I saw that and that's why I posted it.

From the little I understand it's a bit more advanced with slightly better parts and quality control. Whether it's worth the extra cash though...

The Revelations are already pretty high quality.

I saw a natural finish Jazzmaster in my local and was going to buy it but it wasn't just a couple of hundred quid, it was like 400 quid. I asked them for a discount but they just messed me about (I was only looking for 20 quid off). It was identical to the one I bought in there for 200 quid, except for a nicer more solid tail end and of course the beautiful natural finish woodwork.

But worth twice the price? I don't think so. Still I would have bought it for 380, but it seems they just couldn't let it go for that price.

More and more it's getting more difficult to get your hands on these guitars. And I blame myself and other youtubers who have been raving about them now for some time.

You just can't buy them for love nor money and so of course the prices are going up all the time.

Never mind, a new player will come in and clean up.

It's a real odd ball company for sure.

Btw, did you pick up that guitar yet?

My Revelation RJ-60 M TL https://www.revelationguitars.co.uk/guitar/rjt-60-m-tl/ ?
Arrived a few weeks ago, since then I've been playing her more than the Chapman Triton that arrived a little earlier, and my old Ibanez Artstar got no love at all anymore (for the time being).

Haven't done any thorough comparisons, but I like her sound (she's loud, too). She's my first with a whammy, great fun that. She looks lovely and plays well, I should heighten one of the strings a bit though (or whatever it takes to fix the slight buzz on 2 frets there).

I know very little of these things, but she seems to compare well with my other guitars, taking price into account (€350, in my case).

Nicely!

Glad you finally got it.

They look pretty good. Sound pretty good. Play pretty good.

Something a bit different.

I won't ever part with the two I got from them. Especially the 335 with a 25" scale neck.

Ordered a Revelation Guitars RX62 SG-style guitar 8)

Which leaves me with much less of an excuse to buy a Les Paul-style guitar too.

After many years of frugality, I feel a little ashamed about my spending spree, as if I've joined the dark side.
