I agree with you. But if the great musicians from today use the equipment from the past, I'm sure they would not get the same recognition they have. New times, new rules. Thank you my friend. There are many famous pieces from Dilermando Reis and most of them are "easy" to play as he was one of the first who made the guitar playing popular in Brasil.
