Whow, that's looking awesome! : / Does this occur in any Host? Which Plug-In format?
VST2, Win7, all hosts I've tried it in...
Right. Thanks! We'll fix this asap.

Bazille Rev.2709 and also a previous revision, I forget which: can't see any patch list (can see: 1 Modular Piano, 2 Giant Bass, 3 Modern Cosmo, 4 Monster From The Deep Ep1 folders only, but not patches) from BPC1_tamed_anon3 (same story on both identical name file folders). Maybe they got moved to another folder by u-he?
Are the patches inside the folders? The folders incl. contents have read/write permissions? Can you please verify this?

I like the new Gear Porn skin I liked the first one then the second was easier to read but a little less sexy but the new one is more classy and better than Both.

I've got exactly that in Ableton Live 9.1.4 64bit no problem though I don't use that page.

Windows 8.1 64bit

Bazille: when using scaling higher than 100%, the patch info text doesn't get properly broken into newlines when necessary. Not nice as we can't fully read the info then. Here's with 120% and GP skin:

Just for reference: the problems of size and GUI does not seem to concern the Mac versions (ZEBRA2, Bazille) .

Can't see the patches in whatever folders are named BP1_tamed_anon3 (there are 2 of them). Can't select them if you can't see them. Can only see the sub-folders. I don't know what "read/write permissions" means. Was that the file name for the first or second patch contest (yes I know there is a 3 in the file name, but there is also a 1)? I could access the patches earlier when they first were made public.

I found rev2709 of Satin here:
http://www.u-he.com/downloads/Latest%20 ... 709Win.zip

Using studio mode of Satin on a 32-bit 176-kHz all-acoustic recording, I found rev2709 to sound significantly more distorted than rev2577. Whereas rev2577 sounds 3D, clear and "you are there" with a large and deep sound stage, rev2709 makes the sound small, flat, blurry and less full of life. I suspect there was a change in the way quantization is handled.

I am using the 32-bit VST2 version on Windows with 32-bit REAPER. My REAPER project was the same other than the Satin version change. I reverted back to rev2577. I really hope that u-he fixes this in future versions of Satin because I want the fix for the delay-mode mix display resolution regression that Sascha and I discussed in the Satin 1.2 thread.

This is 'interesting', and I can't acknowledge anything like that at all.

Let me clarify:
a) We haven't changed anything on the DSP part. From 1.1 to 1.2, Azimuth came in, but this only adjusts head parameters that were already in since 1.0. Moreover, azimuth was already included in 1.1 but not unlocked, due to a lack of time for testing and making presets.
b ) There is no 'quantization' in the code, unless we want it. Most parts of the algorithm are 32bit float minimum.

I'd be interested in how you would actually measure these things. Be cautious with null tests, though, some partials in the tape algo do small shifts and variations that don't exactly cancel out.
We assured we already diff'ed the code and it's exactly the same, there was simply no need to change anything.

I know you had criticized the way we scaled the mix knob in the most current revision, and I already said we'll try and work on a solution that fits most of the users. But I already pointed out clearly before that this is a UI-convenience thing and doesn't do anything with the internal scaling or resolution.

Could you please send examples, which show the difference between 2709 and 2577?
