M-Core parameter save

I'm not sure if this is an issue with Reaper or u-he but several plugins with a multi-core button, the state is not saved with the plugin. If I freeze, reload a session or instantiate a new instance the m-core button is disabled and I have to manually go through and re-enable. Is there a way to get this to stick?
