Where do I find the 2.0 alpha/beta demo? Or is it only for owners of 1.3?
I'm considering using my -25% voucher from Bitwig towards Uhbik but first I'd love to see what's in store with 2.0, because I've avoided 1.x so far mainly due to GUI (like I avoided Zebra and Hive for the very same reason before recent updates). Yes, I know - I'm a shallow person
Edit: oh well, apparently I'm also stupid - it's on the top of the forum

It's coming along.
Took a while to get up to speed with home office and stuff, but I think we're on a good way now. The big complex of building a rack type wrapper for an assortment of effects has almost reached its final milestone. After this, development wise, there's mostly refactoring and improving surround stuff (such as, adding it to AAX, making it fail safe in some hosts), side chaining (sic) and the whole large field of presets, NKS and tagging.
One unknown open issue is the concept of displaying proper units, eg.g. for filter/eq cutoff frequencies. This *should* work, but the developer who did this left us in December and will be back later this year. We don't dare to merge that stuff into the current project, we'd rather wait till he's back. Not sure if this has an impact on a release date.
Maybe I can post a video example with Runciter's new filter modes... that's what I've been working on for a while.

Never mind him, that's just one-syllable Urs. Man on a mission.

Would the rack be sold as a separate product from Uhbik? I'm wanting to buy Uhbik now, but I wonder if I should wait for a rack version--or if that would be included in a free upgrade.
Doing nothing is only fun when you have something you are supposed to do.
