Bought Colour Copy as soon as I could just after it came out (as I have done with most other u-he plugins) but was rather underwhelmed by it when I used it. I can only remember giving it a brief go and thinking "Well, this is a basic delay without any particular features or sound quality. Don't think I will use it much in the future". I next loaded it up a couple of weeks ago and spent more time with it. Wow This thing sounds beautiful!! It just melts into the background and when you bypass......Wow!! A lot of thought seems to have gone into the parameters and how they affect the sound, with so much variety of great textures available from so few controls. So I have taken this opportunity to undo all your hard work by requesting a new feature.....
I would love the option for the Freeze parameter to also cut out the dry audio so only the wet frozen audio is ouput. This would work great when Colour Copy is used as an insert effect. Just been experimenting with Freeze on a simple mono synth part and was really wanting to hear just the looped "frozen" part at certain points. I know that using automation and/or by putting Colour Copy on an FX send you could create the same effect but this then limits you in other ways and is not helpful creatively when you are in full flow. Even better would be if you could also add the option to only allow audio out from Colour Copy when Freeze is on (so no audio out from Colour Copy at all - unless Freeze is on), which would great for using Colour Copy as a send effect.

Thank you! That's a good request, we'll add it to our ever growing list of "things to think about".
We're also considering a reverse option and stuff. We'll see...

Thanks Urs I have updated my initial post where I thought my explanation could be clearer.

i think the most amazing part of colour copy is just the pure sound of it, yeah. i mean sure it doesn't 32 individual taps, each with the ability to load external VSTs on it, but what it DOES do is let you use delay like an organic instrument and sound generating source all of its own.
