Debugging in Orion?

Hi all,

I'm currently testing Jewel plug-ins in various hosts and so far all looks well.

Well, except for Orion Pro 5.5, which just tells me "This plug-in is buggy and has no dispatcher!". (Which can't be true, because then it wouldn't run in the other hosts I tried...)

So I tried to see what happens from the plug-in side that makes Orion "think" the plug-in has no dispatcher and tried to debug. With the immediate result of Orion rebooting my machine!

Thank you. Glad I lost no source code for trying to make my plug run in Orion.

Anyway, does anybody know a developer contact for Orion (or maybe the person(s) in question read this and would want to get in touch with me?) or a way how to debug your plug-in in that host?

Please help, you better should, if you wanna use Zebra PC in Orion... :P

Stefan

Hello,

don't worry, I'll get it sorted. ;)

I have contacted Synapse Audio about this and am very positive that they can give me some helpful pointers.

From my past experience with Ganymed and Vivaldi, I know that they're very supportive towards 3rd party plug-in developers. :)

Hello,

if you're interested, just so you know:

With help from Synapse I have been able to debug in Orion and immediately found the cause of the problem.

Jewel now also works flawlessly in Orion. ;-)

The "ExampleSynth" plug-in on my website has been updated.
