Also, when AI can create music, it turns music into something banal, it loses its artistic flair.
Stock, Aitken & Waterman did that years ago.

It actually was a sort of stupid AI, an algorithm like Mozarts dice music, or Eliza the famos computer psychologe...

The good thing about AI is that a computer doesn't drink alcohol, doesn't take drugs, is not moody, aggressive, late, irresponsible etc. 8)

saying that an AI is banal instead of having 'artistic flair' and then remarking on 'not moody...' and so forth as a plus makes no sense.

I don't think artistic flair comes from those negative properties I listed.
I don't want to spend any time with people, including musicians, with those properties. I can hardly take my own brother, frankly.

There are great artists without such properties, Al Jarreau for instance was one of them.

Here is a cool track composed entirely with an "AI", including all the sound generation:

(I still wonder how they made the main synth. I think it's some kind of bandlimited karplus-strong or at least karplus-strong with some sort of spectral exciter)
