I recently found out that the recording of this followed closely on the wrap of Sgt. Pepper. I'd rather have had this than 'When I'm 64.'

you never read the beatles studio notes book?
i grabbed a copy when i was at college as we did a cover of lucy, was a production excercise, had to do a sgt peppers track.
covers every session, including equipment lists and settings here n there 8)
