I started a thread about David Guetta feat. Sia - Flames. I got thumbed down and nobody replied.
So, i like pop music songs. I like pop music songs which are nearly 40 years old. They're not always throwaway.
Here's a few of my favourites. You can tell us some of yours.
old
Madonna - Like A Prayer
Madonna - Borderline
new/recent years
David Guetta feat Sia - Flames
Tiesta, Jonas blue, and Rita Ora - Ritual
Example - Stay Awake
Samantha Mumba - Body II Body
Calvin Harris & Alesso feat Hurts - Under Control
Neon Jungle - Braveheart
Wiley feat Ms D - Heatwave
Chipmunk & Esmee Denters - Until You Were Gone
I've got loads of these. I'll give more later.

There are far too many of them to reply in any detail, but most of my favourites come from the sixties and the eighties. The most modern one that has a grip on me is Toy Soldiers by Martika. I keep coming back to it because it has something unusual about it.

i had a massive crush on martika around that time.
which considering i don't know if she ever released anything else here, says a fair bit! (mainly that i was very lonely )
bowie - heroes.
gorillaz - clint eastwood.
fgth - everything.
that single the gossip did.
orbital - satan spawn. (if that didn't chart they had plenty that did, pick one)
underworld - born slippy.
britney - toxic.
kylie - can't get you out of my head.
bjork - it's oh so quiet.
