Report from Valhalla: I have been busy reducing my studio to what my bandmate and I need for our dedicated hobby project. Gone are my Behringer Odyssey, Deepmind 6, MPC One and Nord Modular. Bought the Nektar Impact LX25 for my second mac with Reason Suite. Finally my Sovjet minimoog, the Altair 231, has arrived after a long journey forth and back from Ukraine twice, because it was broken. First time, it was a mess, now second time it works with midi but the keys got loose underways, and I have to get it fixed at my tech. Nevertheless, it sounds wonderfully moogish the Sovjet way and is a great supplement to my Polivoks. Finally, I have both comrades of my dreams.

That looks like an inspiring place to work. Such tidy cabling!
Hope you are enjoying your Panorama P4!

Oh thanks, man. I it is a nice open place to work in. Have had enough of crowded bedrooms and even roof chambers for a lifetime. I love my Nektar controllers (P4 and Impact LX25+), their keyaction and instant mapping of tons of softsynths. That brought me back to software after 5 years hardware ride.

Well, if he has anything to do with the powers of the Nektars, he cannot be anything else but a true warrior in my eyes and is welcome in Valhalla should he ever journey to Denmark to greet our Gods.

Would be interesting to hear from people with these large clean setups how they approach cabling.

I found this picture from 1997 of my setup for an early recording session with my old band Ashfelt ... please feel free to to play "spot the gear" ;) I think we were recording to minidisc back then.

The track helped us get a deal with Iris Light Records. You can stream it from: https://ashfelt.bandcamp.com/track/people-from-jupiter
