Yup, very interesting! The aluminum foil sounds especially awesome. I've done weird bass techniques, and kinda thought about doing prepared for 5 seconds before deciding it's too stressful and I don't want any strings exploding mid-recording, haha.

I asked this guy about this elsewhere, he didn't break anything recording, but about two months afterwards he did have to replace one of the strings.
