Have you added it to the basket as $99 is the headline price?
With JRR a lot of stuff gets discounted in the basket.
If not, then there are codes.
I read a blog that says the same thing but I don’t understand the basis for it. It seems to me they do exactly the same thing. The RX spectral editor has always done everything I need, I’ve never used it and thought “if only it could...”
That's why I qualified my statement as it could be hearsay and I don't like to spread rumours without making it clear that's what they are.
Sorry, I hope it didn’t sound like I was contradicting you. I’m far from an expert on SL and could absolutely be ignorant of some aspect that makes it great.
Not at all. I was just being cautious in passing on info about 2 products that I haven't personally compared.

There are reasons not to buy SL but I don't see Magix as being one of them.
For cleaning up audio RX 7 Standard is worth consideration.

Hi Eric, any chance we can get confirmation that if we have iZotope Ozone 8 Elements in our account, we qualify for this RX crossgrade ?
You should qualify. If you login to your izotope account it will tell you what you can purchase, then purchase it from JRR. Ive found izotope to be pretty loose with crossgrade/ upgrade rules when I’ve contacted them. And RX is great, well worth the price.telecode wrote: ↑Tue Jun 02, 2020 8:25 pmagharta wrote: ↑Tue Jun 02, 2020 4:36 pmSL was not created by Magix and they passed it on to Steinberg fairly quickly after purchasing it.telecode wrote: ↑Tue Jun 02, 2020 3:09 pmi just need something i can clean up useless ambient audio frequencies. i might jump on the SL deal. looking thru the manual and doc. i just get a weird vibe about Magix. its like they are a Corel kind of company. not a market leader and just gimicky ads. i dont know.

I am seeing there is a deal for RX elements and a whole bunch of others for $50. And comparing it with RX Standard deal. I only need the vocal dialogue tools to remove ambient noise and bring forward dialogue. Anyone knwo if you need De-rustle and Dialogue Isolate?mrufino1 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 03, 2020 12:41 amYou should qualify. It's hard to say as it depends on the exact nature of what you are trying to do.telecode wrote: ↑Wed Jun 03, 2020 1:26 amI am seeing there is a deal for RX elements and a whole bunch of others for $50. Yes, you qualify.
Yes, Dialogue Isolate does exactly that.
First, there is not SpectraLayers deal (as yesterday) out there yet. It could be soon, since version 7 is already announced and that could take a month, but not much more than that.telecode wrote: ↑Tue Jun 02, 2020 3:09 pmi just need something i can clean up useless ambient audio frequencies. i might jump on the SL deal. looking thru the manual and doc. i just get a weird vibe about Magix. its like they are a Corel kind of company. not a market leader and just gimicky ads. i dont know.
