Hi !

(e.g.PlugIn ZR-3)
I set it up to CH 1.
I can play it with my masterkeyboard's channel 1 - that's fine !
you can address ch2 (for lower) and ch 3 (for bass pedal) seperately.
But I couldn't manage to play (organ like) those 3 different channels...

Any solution ?
How is it with B4 ? can anyone tell about it ?

Thanx !

I would have thought you could do that with the ZR-3 (although I've never tried it). You can certainly do it with the B4. The upper manual defaults to channel 1, lower to 2 and pedals to 3.
I've never tried receptor though.

Just wondering, couldn't you just load 3 Organ VSTs instead?

Wk

Yes of course, but then I'd "lose" 2 channels... that'd be a pity..

I 'm not absolutely sure about the ZR-3, but, this is how you would do it with B4: click on the "Remap Channel Button," set "Listen to MIDI channel" to "ALL," set "Play Plugin MIDI channel" to "THRU" or "-". That's the bottom choice for both columns.

When you send MIDI channel 1 from you keyboard, Receptor will send MIDI channel 1 to B4, channel 2 in to channel 2 for B4, and so on.

If I remember correctly, the problem with ZR-3 is that it "listens" to all 16 channels. If you send to it MIDI channel 4, 5, 6, and so on it will play the upper manual. That means that if you want to use another plug-in on a different Receptor channel, and set that channel to "listen" to MIDI channel 4, ZR-3 will play MIDI channel 4 too.

B4 does not have that problem.
