Hello,
I am trying to familiarize myself with Zyn Fusion on a Linux box with ALSA only (no Jack), but Zyn apparently doesn't recognize my sound card:

Code: Select all (#)

Starting Audio: ALSA
unable to open pcm device: No such file or directory
ERROR: The default audio output failed to open!
Changing sample rate didn't fix anything, and I can't find other options to tweak or debug this issue.

Other synths and MIDI tools are working fine.

My .asoundrc contains the following lines:

Code: Select all (#)

defaults.ctl.!card "PCH";
defaults.pcm.!card "PCH";
Understanding audio configuration is really hard for me (that's why I am not running Jack), but I will gladly provide any further info.

Anyone knows how to proceed?
