Since the PG-8X synth plugin only has a working VST for Mac (the AU is outdated and doesn't work), I want to use PatchWork as an AU wraparound to get PG-8X to work inside of Logic with the PG-8X VST. Can someone be kind enough to enlighten me, step by step, how this is done? In Logic, all the installed plugins are under instruments. Does PatchWork do some do sort of makeshift VST plugin installation so PG-8X can work like all the other plugins in Logic? Once again, a step by step of how to get PG-8X VST to work inside of Logic using Patchwork would be most appreciated.

Hi,

Thank you for your interest in our software. PatchWork is not a plug-in wrapper, but a plug-in that can host other plug-ins. So for any third party party plug-in:
1. Simply load the PatchWork plug-in (in this case the Virtual Instrument version, called PatchWork Synth).
2. In Patchwork, click on a plug-in slot and select Load VST...
3. Using the finder window opened by PatchWork, select the plug-in you want to load
4. Voila! You can use the plug-in inside PatchWork, inside Logic.
To avoid repeating Step 3 every time, use the Save As command to save the plug-in in your favorites. You will be able to load it directly from the plug-in menu next time. You can also save your favorite plug-ins configurations as PatchWork presets.

Hope this helps!
