Title says it all. When I try to insert it as an FX, GUI doesn't pop up and Cubase freezes.
Also, I assume there is no actual VSTi version of this, just an FX processor.

Regarding the VST version, in Cubase you just connect a Midi input to the FX track with crusher installed and you're ready to rumble.wagtunes wrote:Title says it all. When I try to insert it as an FX, GUI doesn't pop up and Cubase freezes.

Well, that would be great if I could get the GUI to pop up. But while it does seem to load (I hear it) the GUI is non functional for whatever reason.Sampleconstruct wrote:Regarding the VST version, in Cubase you just connect a Midi input to the FX track with crusher installed and you're ready to rumble.wagtunes wrote:Title says it all. Does it load in any host on your system? - might tell us if the problem is Cubase specific or system specific or even a broken install.

Yes, there is a dedicated Midi-controlled version which receives Midi in.nordickvr wrote:@ Sampleconstruct
Don't want to derail the thread.
Just one Q.
Can Crusherx being used as AU within Logic X (i.e. AU MIDI-controlled Effects)?

Well, I tested this in MuLab and it works flawlessly. Another member here also tested in Cubase 8.5 and his also froze. So for whatever reason, Cubase doesn't like this plug.

I'm still waiting for the developer to come to this thread and let me know if they're ever going to make this thing so that it works in Cubase. I mean it's only been 6 months.

I usually can't run the demo for more than a few seconds in 9.7 on my macsimmo75 wrote:It crashes Bitwig Studio 2 also.
But seems pretty stable in Ableton Live 9.7 on mac.
Amazing sound!

Have you contacted support? The dude seems really responsive and I'm sure he'll want his product to be stable across platforms.lnikj wrote:I usually can't run the demo for more than a few seconds in 9.7 on my macsimmo75 wrote:It crashes Bitwig Studio 2 also.

Working fine for the most part in Bitwig 2 here (win 64), Crusher-X 6 that is.
Although, Bitwig cannot see any presets if you load a project that includes it.
Bitwig seems to do that with most plugins incorporating internal presets.
*rather than actual preset files, E.g. "fxp" files or whatever.
-Cheers

Hi,
Sorry for late reply. We're still talking about crusher-X 6 demo Windows (currently for download) that crashed at your Cubase 7 ? 32 or 64 bit? We tested with Cubase 8.5 Windows 32 and 64 bit - all fine. But due to your feedback we will do a Cubase 7 and Bitwig test soon and let you know the outcome. Thanks for the feedback.
