Hi
first, thankx for all your contributions to the virtual music scene; your plugins are quite unique.
now a question:
I don't know very much at all about surround sound mixing at all, and I am wondering if there is any benefit to using multi-channel '3d' devices if I am mixing it down to stereo. What I mean I suppose, is to ask whether your plugins work for making 'simulated' surround; I have listened to some music on normal two speaker setups, or through headphones, that seems to be coming from all over the sonic field, even though there are only two speakers. Is that kind of mixing possible with your plugs?
cheers.
gabriel
ps; I hope I made myself clear - I don't really know how to describe this stuff.

Hi,
These plugins are ONLY made for multichannel sound, so you will need at least four speakers in order to have some results.
The "3D" plugins need at least 8 speakers and if possible 12 or 16 for better results !
3D simulation (based on HRTF models) can be good for headphones and there are some VST plugins from SpinAudio for this http://www.spinaudio.com/.
You can take a look too to the excellent Maven3D Pro : http://maven3d.com/en/index.asp
