Totally agree, this is more a 2.0 then a 1.1
So much more possibilities and features, if you got a good chord progression from somewhere this is nearly all you need to make a complete song, incredible
If you dont look for special style-patterns but for unlimited randomn pattern creation options this is unbeatable, nothing comparable on the market so far as I can see

Hi, I downloaded the update tonight and I replaced the dll in my VST folder, then I opened it up in Cubase. I'm wondering if I have to apply the licence key again because it doesn't seem to give me a notification of that.

If you had entered your key in the version before and just replaced the dll you don´t have to register it again...
To double check: If you don´t see any "Register" button on the titlebar of Chordpotion it is registered

Hello. I just downloaded the demo to test this. It seems to me that whatever i select in the channeldropdown it outputs to all midichannels. Is that disabled in the demo or is it buggy or am I doing something wrong?

This depends on the DAW! Ableton Live sends everything on the same channel, other DAWs should be OK.
I created some guides over here:

https://feelyoursound.com/chordpotion-manual/#channels
All the best,
Hauke

I only own Cubase Elements, so I cannot help here. However, the current version of ChordPotion can definitely send MIDI notes on different channels. And there are no demo restrictions in this regard.

Can confirm it works fine on Mulab and Mixcraft.
I would assume maybe there is something wrong with the channel routing in your Cubase Setup ? Of course I dont know but thats the reason for me to just use simple "rack" daw where you can just put anything on the same track and it just works cause the way cubase (for example) has to be configured before you can route any midi to a synth just drives me mad.
Another suggestion: maybe for drag and drop of the generated midi you might need allready enough empty tracks before you drag and drop (so for example if you have all 4 channels used in chordpotion you need 4 empty track already) ?
