This is looking awesome; really looking #ffw to try this out. Any plans on adding #crosstalk in between the different channels? Great Work anyway & Glad to see the 'evolution' of your plugins.

VST3 and AU have more limitations than VST 2.4? Wow, seriously? What are those devs thinking? They're supposed to improve the formats, not to go backwards ¬_¬

Thanks!
Actually, i thought about crosstalk but i decided to not adding this. We always try to keep crosstalk low in analog world. In digital world, possible to remove crosstalk. So, i decided this...
AU has only 6 mono inputs (3 stereo) and VST3 acting like midi plugin in DAW if you try to use 16 channel input. Both have no problem with multi-out as you know but they can't handle multi-input...VST3 and AU have more limitations than VST 2.4? Wow, seriously? What are those devs thinking? You're welcome!Awesome! Thanks tunca

Agree, as it is also a tiny step between 'gluing' Things together, or totally messing up the Signal. So the Hi End Consoles in the Analog World should be about 99.99% none - crosstalking; yet there is still the 0.01% of Magic in there.AnalogObsession wrote: ↑Mon Mar 30, 2020 5:45 amThanks!

Can someone explain what this adds to DAW summing, or using subgroups?
Isn’t it just the same daw function? What’s different from a math perspective? Digital summing = Digital summing no? Which leaves channel colorization, which has been done to death by Slate, Waves and others? NLS, VCC etc?
What’s different this time?

sounds like a DAW bug to me. i'm pretty sure it would work fine in REAPER or any other DAW that isn't CubaseAnalogObsession wrote: ↑Mon Mar 30, 2020 5:45 am VST3 acting like midi plugin in DAW if you try to use 16 channel input.
I don't know what to write here that won't be censored, as I can only speak in profanity.

All acting same.Burillo wrote: ↑Mon Mar 30, 2020 9:47 amsounds like a DAW bug to me. i'm pretty sure it would work fine in REAPER or any other DAW that isn't CubaseAnalogObsession wrote: ↑Mon Mar 30, 2020 5:45 am VST3 acting like midi plugin in DAW if you try to use 16 channel input.
Even, DAWs are crashing after some minutes.
AU can handle only 3 stereo tracks for 5.1 mixing. With 7 or more, DAW is crashing which one use AU.
It's too bad for VST3 and AU users. I'm sorry about that...

It's like using one 8 channel sidecar mixer (different color) with your main "big" console.Vortifex wrote: ↑Mon Mar 30, 2020 2:39 pmYeah I don't really understand what this is for. A mixer that I put in my DAW's mixer? I'd appreciate an explanation.Raphie wrote: ↑Mon Mar 30, 2020 7:16 am Can someone explain what this adds to DAW summing, or using subgroups?

Possible to route your tracks into individual strips and sum all of them. Also, EQing...

I get the “virtual” story, but it seems there is no clear difference to me either, funneling sound through a GUI, it’s summing i/o leveling and EQ, all being basic daw functions.
