For smart:reverb it's definitely iLok requirement (even if it's only the digital one) and the fact that it would be my 1st Sonible plugin, which usually doesn't end well for my wallet :D :dog:
I dont think sonible products are ilok-ed tho - none of mine are. Haven't installed one for a while so I cant remember how it goes, but definitely they are not in my ilok account

i tried smart:reverb, it was cool but i'm faster with Pro-R, and imo Pro-R is more flexible

they're not, but their copy protection is Pace-based so you need Pace shit installed anyway (and that's also what's likely holding back M1 native)

I wouldn't get either. Love both companies, but reverb is one that I want creative control over.
I use sonible's smart:eq3 and smart:comp because those are tedious tasks, but reverb is fun so I'll retain decision-making for myself.

I don't get why AI should decide what reverb I should use. However, I could forgive the pointless automated functionality if the fundamental sound was amazing, but it's not - Smart Reverb sounds so metallic and so bland, ugh.

(SmartEQ and SmartComp are great)
