Guys, this can be achieved (monophonically) by simply routing plastique's (s-production) sustain plugin to (or from) his polylimiter plugin set to 1 poly's .

But think, each 'trigger' represents a MIDI note, which 'plays+holds' a pre-sequenced chord, where pressing that same note would 'scan' through a series of pre-sequenced chords.
(eg: I press E3, it plays C, I press E3 again, it plays F, I press E3 again, it plays G7, I press E3 again, it returns to C.)
