Markbass makes great lightweight bass amps.
I owned a LM-II for a good while.
My favorite is an SVT Classic... as long as I don't have to move it.

I gig with a LittleMark III and a Traveler 2x10; it's about half the size & weight of my previous rig, and sounds twice as good - "thunder from a lunchbox" indeed. If their software efforts are as good as their hardware the plugin is definitely worth consideration.

Just picked up Waves GTR a couple weeks ago cause they lowered the price to 100 bucks and I really dig it. The bass amps on there are definitely worth checking out. I've been getting a cool sound going from the Sansamp Bass Driver and using the Motown amp.

SVX is the only useable Amplitube product (the one with the lowest RAM demands). And it works.

My go to bass solution is AmpegSVX inside Amplitube3. To my ears, the newer Amplitube3 engine really makes the Ampeg models shine.
