Right, apparently some hosts don't recognize plain .vst3 libraries but expect a "bundle" directory structure to be present. Fixed in 0.6.0a:

Not sure if this is a bug, but I tried using these, and FL Studio doesn't seem able to show the parameters knobs in the plugin window.
The parameters do show up in the list, and I can modify them albeit awkwardly, but all I get to see are the decimal values of the parameters, don't know which mode is which.

I noticed that, too, during my tests but settled with blaming FL for this. I suspect the issue is specific to VST3 plug-ins without GUI. Do you happen to have other plug-ins installed that fall into this category?
I started investigating today but still am unable to see anything wrong in the plugins that could explain the behavior. Not sure how I should proceed here right now, I'm afraid.

I have a bunch of VST2 effects (older Xhip, airwindows and mda bundles), which have no GUI and show the controls just fine. VST2 Instruments vst2413 and Muon's Atom have no GUI and also work fine.
As for VST3, I can only find your bkFX and the mda bundle in the VST3 sdk (which I tried and apparently it also suffers the same problem).
I think someone noticed this exact issue here: https://forums.steinberg.net/t/multiple ... dio/201937
It could just be incompetence on FL's fault for not following spec, an FL dev mentions they knew of no GUI-less VST3 plugs to test... But I suppose this issue will be resolved when a GUI is added.
Would it be possible to get the last version of the VST2 builds? I understand they won't be updated, but considering those would likely work just fine, it'd be appreciated, if just to familiarize myself with the parameter ranges (since I can alter the VST3 parameters, just has to be a decimal number).
Despite this, I've been playing with bkChorus and I'm really impressed. I typically use the "Chorus+" or "Ensemble" mode (they sound very similar, are there any fundamental differences?), or the dimension one in rarer cases.
Here's three layers of Charlatan with a 50% mix of bkChorus (no reverb, just release tails + kHs Stereo on the master):
Ensemble: https://ia600301.us.archive.org/12/item ... semble.ogg
Dimension+: https://ia600301.us.archive.org/12/item ... ension.ogg
The 4/6 voice modes are like a much more configurable "LX" Chorus, but it's brighter, letting in a bit more high end. Out of 32 free plugins I'm comparing, this one is easily in the top 5.
Though the stereo width control is a bit confusing. 0 and 100% seem to be both Mono, with 50% seems to be the the highest amount of stereo spread?

I have a REAPER project with an envelope changing the LFO waveform of bkDualFilter (VST3, Windows). After I updated to 0.7.0 (from 0.6.0) I get this error message when loading the project:
After a bit of head scratching I found out that in 0.7.0, LFO waveform isn't an automatable parameter anymore; the envelope in question was completely missing from my project. I reverted to 0.6.0 and the envelope was back (and no error message).
Is this intentional or a mistake?
(I'll report the rather cryptic error message on the REAPER forum soon)

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, this was intended. Any switch-like parameters are marked as not automatable as some of them may cause glitches or high CPU load when automated.Paul Eye wrote: ↑Fri Jul 01, 2022 9:04 am After a bit of head scratching I found out that in 0.7.0, LFO waveform isn't an automatable parameter anymore; the envelope in question was completely missing from my project. Maybe I should re-evaluate this setting on a case-by-case basis
