TBProAudio has released Impress, a wideband stereo compressor including side-chaining,
various prefilter options and state of the art oversampling.

  • Zero latency click-free 64-bit internal processing
  • Low aliasing compressor design
  • "real" oversampling, up to 8x
  • Stereo/left/right/mid/side processing
  • External side-chain
  • Multiband filter for main signal , up to 192 dB/Oct (Linkwitz-Riley design)
  • Prefilter for detector signal , up to 192 dB/Oct
  • 2 compressor modes: classic and clean (low aliasing)
  • 3 gain stage modes: modern, vintage and vintage clean (including thermal noise emulation)
  • 3 level detection modes: peak, RMS and RMS incl. BS1770 filter
  • Short/long attack/release times
  • Low aliasing soft knee
  • Dry/wet
  • Flexible signal monitoring

  • Windows XP or newer
  • Mac OS X 10.5 or newer

  • Tested with: Cockos Reaper, Steinberg Cubase/Nuendo/Wavelab 6/7/8, FL Studio, PT10/12
  • Demo version available.

Update to 1.9.11:
- AAX: fix rounding int values
- Bypass: fixed latency compensation when plugin is bypassed in some hosts (e.g. Cubase, Studio One, Logic ...)
- GUI: mouse control logic adjusted, please refer to the manual
- PDC: communication with DAW optimized
