I do have to say that "Garbage LSD" wouldn't have been my first choice for an audio effect name.

Huh? The link above gives a demo which is just GLSD.spacekid wrote:Awww..why still the 'all plugins' demos? change that please. It seems like a lot more work to put up than a single plugin demo and I can't be the only one who finds them a hassle on the user end.

If you don't have the original people for a brand anymore, then I think it's important to at least have (more or less) the original vision.
I did get a life,once...but it was faulty, so I sent it back.

Well that makes sense, but why not call this Premium LSD and the upgrade something like Artesanal Acid or Druid Grade?spacekid wrote:^ Premium LSD is the upgrade version *coming soon
I mean garbage just isn't that marketable, sounds like either piss all happens, or worst case shit goes all cronenberg and you turn into a human centipede.

Really, it gives me the full plugins..like the old installers of theirs. I'll try again.whyterabbyt wrote:Huh? Yea..It's deceptive in it's name if it's just one plugin. I'm going to install it anyway though. I have it in an oddly named folder but look to the top of the pic to see that it is named as an 'all installer' but when opened shows only Garbage..confusing.whyterabbyt wrote:Its the link that soulone82 gave, in case there's some confusion...spacekid wrote:Really, it gives me the full plugins..like the old installers of theirs. *Edit: I guess they could be referring to 'all' plugin versions of Garbage..still, confused me given that in the past I've only found all plugin installers for demo from Nomad Factory.

Any sign of an update for Magma?
I bought it back in May, haven't used it since then seeing as the first test run was disastrous.
I'd still like to include it in my workflow if we ever get a stable release. (last update was July 2015).

Yeah, I'm always a little confused as to why developers don't put together some demos. I know people's state in music differ a lot, but it's not too hard to make a handful of basic sound preset demos and maybe a basic tutorial. It's good for those who are at work, but also good because with such a deluge of plug ins to choose from, downloading and demoing every single one is often a waste of time. I rely on a good demo track to make the next step to actually do a download, unless it's from a company like XILS or U-He where I know the quality will be high.PALU wrote:I would love a demo video too. I'm working now and I cannot download and check out the demo, but I can watch a couple minutes of a video while something renders .

Helo everybody,db3 wrote:If I recall correctly, Dmitry was working with Nomad when Bernie was around. So some Nomad DNA/IP may exist in new products.
Yes, Dmitry worked with Bernie. He assisted Bernie for over five years helping him to get the product projects finished. So there is definitely some Nomad DNA in there.
Garbage took three years to develop. Bernie and Dmitry both worked on it at the very beginning and as Bernie got progressively unable to contribute, Dmitry took the project as his own and finished it. He added considerably to it and made it an amazing plug-in.
Best regards,
Nick
