So, I was intrigued and made something right away!
Here is Bit_Fluzer_SC with an extra input and a simple sidechain.
The audio sent to that input 3 is very lowpassed to create an envelope
and this envelope pushes up both "bit depth" parameters by about eight bits.
E.G. You play a crushed bassline using Bit_Fluzer_SC,
if you send the kick and snare of the drum to input 3,
than there should be a kind of "whoomp" of crushing *between*
the kick and snare hits, since on drums hit the crushing will be reduced.
Please see if it works in your Windows DAW.

It was difficult to control the effect. I noticed that the sidechain was reducing bitdepth but the intensity wasn't controlable on the plugin. It would be nice to visualize how much effect it has, kinda like a peak meter for the sidechain.

yeah, that was just to try something, I also would add a monitor and a sidechain gain.

Bit Fluzer for macOS is ready
http://www.kvraudio.com/product/bit-fluzer-by-nusofting
still at the raw 0.9.0. But with the next update Bit Fluzer will have sidechain
and stereo resonant filter. So don't miss the next news.

I noticed a little 'coming soon' on your page for a new Morphing Delay.
Is that something to look forward to soon?
I've been away from music making for nearly a decade so I'm still catching up.

I'm beginning to think it's just an old announcement they forgot to scrub from the website

Yeah it's old but not forgotten, I just waited to see if there was some positive feedback about a possible update of Morphing Delay, so thanks everybody for reminding me that.melomood wrote:I'm beginning to think it's just an old announcement they forgot to scrub from the website
Since I have released many plugins in the past now I will update only the ones that stimulate some feedback.
Cheers.

I think Luigi has just forgotten to update the download links in the KVR product pages. He rationalised all the brands / domains he was using (DASH signature, Liqihsynth etc.) into just the one NUsofting one. But that means there were (free) product links on old domains that no longer work.sampliist wrote:Hey.
Still in beta? Main d/l links are dead, and no mention of it on the main webpage either.
Hopefully he'll see this here and fix the link. As far as I know, he wasn't planning to discontinue this.

As blurk said. I fixed the links now. Thanks sampliist for reporting that.
