It looks like the third week in May will be Tverb's week to be on sale; I'm not certain I need yet another as I just added TSAR from Softube with Vol 1, but Eventide's most recent entry might be worth a demo in anticipation for those interested.

I have and like Stereo Room, and that one goes on sale the fourth week of May.

I am surely looking forward to the Tverb sale. It is the only Eventide plugin I do not own at this time.

Is Eventide in such a bad state that they need to cash in on these products that aggressively? Are they aware that these rebate orgies will hurt their brand reputation?
Don't they have enough ideas the creare new products that create a stream of fresh cash?
Having in mind all these sell out marketing strategies of other devs like Waves, Softube, Plugin Alliance etc: is the market for plugins near the edge of breaking down? If I can sell only with big discounts, the conclusion may be that these products are not / no longer worth their list prices...

They are fishing for return customers, IMHO. This is the bait. First they bite, then you have their loyalty, then they come back and bite again. Those are the guys who follow discounts, who can wait, buy best price, etc.

Others buy when they need to, at regular prices. If you are a business, or an educational institution, you can't wait until the next great discount, so...

Can you imagine if say a conservative 100,000 purchase this plug-in for $40? That would be a cool $4 Million return.
