I was trying the free Dead Duck Phaser the other day on guitar and was quite impressed. Has all the options you need from a phaser and up to 12 selectable even stages, sounds great and has a character of its own.

Wouldn‘t be this the ultimate phaser?

if it were available right at this moment, i'd buy it.
don't know what marketing shenanigans they're playing there, but it's a tad silly.

I'll probably be over it in another 5 minutes :P

The web site states it is as soon as you subscribe for 8$. I states you can cancel any time and keep what you got...
I don‘t need it, no point to test the procedure for me...

'''Extreme Phase''

Not sure what is so extreme in that video example. Sounds just like a regular phaser or even a flanger  (and to be honest, compared to so many great suggestions in this thread, doesn't sound even good nor pleasing...)

Post

Not sure, i don´t find a pleasing phaser at all. The best phaser i ever used is the one in the Zeeon iOS synth.
Like i mentioned before it is based on a zero-delay-feedback path.
Maybe that´s the thing i just prefer since it has a special sounds if you crank up the feedback close to 100.
I know i asked this several times and i tried to research but i can´t find any info or if there is any other ZDF phaser as plug-in. Recommendations would be much appreciated.
It´s maybe the only FX together with the modFX module inside Alchemy which i can´t find any VST/AU which does the same and sounds as good and interesting. Most other dedicated FX plug-ins in this area just all sound the same and while they have some sweet spots they sounds damn boring against it.
Edit: There is one from SynapseAudio but it´s a rack for Reason only, doh´.

i like that too

other than that, the soundwise best to me is PHAEDRA (M4L)
it's not toooo far from a Schulte Compact Phasing, while missing the modulation/movement the Schulte has

i really wonder, why there are not more sounding so beefy

Yes, its included to the Anthology XI bundle, which recent update replaced the Instant Paser by the Instant Phaser MK II.
Haven't had yet time for a deep testing of the plugin.

Yeah I got it free as part of the bundle as well. Great update, as is typically the case
wit eventide. :tu:

MPhaserMb is my go to. It does exactly what I want. Sometimes I’ll use the ones in guitar rig while doing guitar stuff though.
Don't F**K with Mr. Zero.

As I just wrote in its own thread:

"I can't believe how great this sounds."

It totally pisses all over every other phaser plugin I tried before.

"Preamps have literally one job: when you turn up the gain, it gets louder." Jamcat, talking about presmp-emulation plugins.
