hey guys, I made a good comparison post. Brainworx were kind enough to officially announce my comparison post and my review on their FB. You can listen to the files here: https://www.gearslutz.com/board/gear-sh ... st13414849
I'm very happy with the update

yeah i dig it.
$29 would have been a bit kinder on loyal customers.
$50 is a bit of a kick in the guts.
sounds ferkin fabulous though

That $50 is probably going to SSL for the branding... although the changes they've made with the help of SSL, I'd say its worth it.sqigls wrote:yeah i dig it.

I'm super impressed with these... I've had them on test for a month or so now and absolutely love them. The EQ and Dynamics are spot on, but what really impresses me is the TMT channel modelling. I've got Slate VCC and have demo'd Waves NLS but neither of them I like nearly as much as this... summing audio through multiple random channels really adds something special and incredible width to your mixes.

I wonder if I am missing something here.
I also tried it out and:
- the new "all" controls for vgain and saturation are really, really, useful.
- The compressor does sound even better, which is exciting
- For me at least the GUI is a little more responsive
If you bought this within the last year I figure you're going to get a at least a $25 voucher for July, mine is $50 which makes this free.
Shrug?

I dont own either but received several loyalty vouchers to get them for $99 each, separate to the usual monthly voucher
Amazon: why not use an alternative

Unfortunately you can't stack the bundle discount with it and PA have fixed their bx_tuner discount loophole. Last order I stacked 7 of them to bring the price down an extra $40. Oh well. Not too anxious to pull the trigger now.
