I'm pretty sure I do!
don't mind for the UI lag (500 ms to open..)
True, half a second to open a UI really is not an issue for me (I like how you put it in ms to sound dramatic - though you should've gone for something more superlative like 'half a million microseconds')
and didn't notice the automation bug ("dirty flag" action triggered on each automated move
Again true, but then I have no idea what a 'dirty flag' is (Is it like a dirty protest, but on a flag?)

Certainly seems like Neutron 2.5. They did some optimizing - which could or should have been a free update to N2 - gave it the Nectar 3 interface and added one module.

And as a Neutron 2 Advanced owner, all this can be mine for just $149.

I'll wait until it's 75% off in 3-6 months and get it cheap... maybe.

do you think that the upgrade to advanced will be 75% off in a few month ?

I don't know. Plugin Boutique just had a sale with up to 70 or 80 percent off of izotope upgrades.

Nectar 3 upgrade was $150 at first. Several months later I upgraded to the whole vocal bundle for... it might have been $130 or $150, which was Nectar 3, VocalSynth, RX Elements, and of course Melodyne Essentials.

If you wait for 6 months, at some point izotope will have had a sale of more than 50%, probably multiple sales. I've learned to wait because i feel burned when I buy a product at "intro discount" price and then it's over half off before you know it. Plus there'll just be another new version in a year or less.

Post

Yeah I imagine come the black Friday sales there'll be a 50% upgrade offers (although by then it'll probably be 50% off the full/non-intro pricing)

usual path is getting neutron Element for free or 5$, then jump in a 80% upgrade sales which come very often.

Wow this is ridiculous. Even for the intro price too much.... to upgrade.... $149.... advanced....

So Spector looks like it's the evolution of Neutrino and in turn reminds me of Melda MAutoDynamicEQ. Either way, you can love or hate them but every time they release something it becomes an industry standard because they're stuff works fast and in the streaming world today speed is everything.

SLiC wrote: Thu Jun 06, 2019 9:52 am The upgrade procing for bundle owners suite pricing is ludicrous as ever - I have suite 2 with everything at the latest version other than Neutron- they want $299 for the .1 upgrade! Its cheaper to upgrade from any other product or as a new user than to keep you suite up-to-date - I did the vocal synth/Nektar update (vocal pack) separately, so I have everything update other than Neutron Advanced and cant find a deal less than $200!
For me it's $99, or $84 @ JRR: https://www.jrrshop.com/izotope-music-p ... pgrade-mps
Yeah but that's for standard, not advanced, right?

Yeah it just feels bad to buy an expensive plugin and then a year later be expected to pay the price of an expensive plugin to upgrade to the next version.

At least with Nectar 3 they overhauled and/or added a lot of stuff. I don't feel like I'm really missing anything by sticking with Neutron 2, except a prettier (but not necessarily faster or more functional) UI.

That's weird - I wonder how I managed to use it on every channel of every track since release without any issues? :D
Yes, very strange! Neutron 2 is working flawlessly and impressing well on all my tracks too...
Perhaps performance on Mac OS vs Windows?

On my Mac, it uses up more than Diva or Repro playing pad sounds in high quality. So I can use maybe four or five Instances due to CPU spikes caused by Neutron.
